Pedestrian Bridge

The objective of this project was to design a pedestrian bridge that provides a connection from the Mission Hills neighborhood to the Pioneer Park in San Diego, California. The bridge was to span across the entire canyon, however no structural elements were allowed to be on the canyon. The structure and design of the bridge was inspired by Lake Hodges, pedestrian bridge in San Diego that has a stress ribbon structure that was chosen to allow minimal impact on its surroundings.
