Fire fighters are characterized as super heroes. They operate from a base, equipped with high sensitive systems of disaster and emergency surveillance. Like super heroes they risk their lives to save others responding to alarm signals that call them to action. This fire station was inspired by Iron Man, a well known super hero who has an Arc Reactor as a heart that serves as a Energy Source for the suit. The concept of the Arc Reactor was used to form the core of the building where the Captain’s dorm, administration, and an observatory of the city is located at. A glass facade is wrapped around the city as a symbol of protection.
